2 minutes to rescue 8 people.

Health Ontario Health Ontario

Just two minutes!  Not much, right? By that time, you can boil the water in the electric kettle, heat the dinner in the microwave, and... save someone's life. How? Just go to beadonor.ca and register as an organ donor.  The problem of too few donors in Canada is quite serious.  Particularly in Ontario, where many people do not sign the necessary consent for organ donation after death and the decision falls to their loved ones.

This is not an easy decision, because many people simply refuse, unable to cope with the fact that their loved one is dead.  Therefore, do not leave the decision to your family - take two minutes and sign up as an organ donor on beadonor.ca.  This way, you will successfully end up on the database of donors, kept by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.  The data is stored there until your death.  Your application may be secret – the family is not notified, if the donor does not desire it.  You also do not need to give away all of your organs - You choose which ones will be available for transplant.  Want to know more?
