West Vancouver Police were called to a crash site last week, finding a Lamborghini Huracan extensively damaged in a ditch. Initial investigations revealed no individuals at the scene, prompting a search for the occupants to ensure their safety.
Investigation and admission
With assistance from the vehicle's owner, police were able to locate the 13 - year - old driver. The teen admitted to taking the vehicle for a joyride with a friend and losing control due to the adverse weather conditions.
The young driver now faces charges under the Motor Vehicle Act, including speeding, driving without due care and attention, failing to remain at the scene, and unlicensed driving.
