When I think about genuine northwest coast food, First Nations cuisine comes to mind. When my wife and I were hitched about 15 years ago, we arranged for the Liliget Feast House to cater the reception, and it drew rave reviews from family and friends. Alas, the Liliget Feast House is long gone, but I recently discovered a new place that serves genuine BC First Nations food. It’s the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre in Whistler.

Toronto is the most populous city in Canada and the provincial capital of Ontario. It is located in Southern Ontario on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. The history of Toronto began in the late 18th century when the British Crown purchased its land from the Mississaugas of the New Credit. The British established a settlement there, called the Town of York, which its lieutenant governor, John Graves Simcoe, designated as the capital of Upper Canada.

Air Museum at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Excellent aircraft and aviation related museum with aircraft and artefacts set out in a time line order mostly. Really a great museum for an aircraft enthusiast, with plenty of room around each exhibit to walk and take pictures.
No limits imposed on you at all for taking pictures or videos, as long as its for personal, non commercial purposes.

2 minutes to rescue 8 people.

Just two minutes!  Not much, right? By that time, you can boil the water in the electric kettle, heat the dinner in the microwave, and... save someone's life. How? Just go to beadonor.ca and register as an organ donor.  The problem of too few donors in Canada is quite serious.  Particularly in Ontario, where many people do not sign the necessary consent for organ donation after death and the decision falls to their loved ones.
